Here's my wife Tami. We met in college in '93 and have been married since '96. This picture was taken at my brother's rehearsal dinner in September of '05.

Here is a picture of my dogs, Shelby and Jake. We think she is 12 years old, but she could be older. She is a beagle-lab mix and she is a huge beagle. Jake is no longer with us, but he was a part of our lives for ten years, and we love him a lot...

How I became known as theCarr

It goes back to the time at All News Channel in Minneapolis. I'll speak more later about my time there, but we had The Dalai Lama as a super and I commented that I would love to have a "the" in front of my name. It kind of stuck after that.

Later in my time at the capitol, The Dalai Lama spoke to the Legislature. We supered him "His Holiness, the Dalai Lama". From that point on, I became HHtheCarr, but that hasn't stuck.

I've posted links to three of my favorite internet sites. DSMTVNews is now up and running again and I am addicted to the message boards. I hit ESPN at least five times a day. Bill Simmons' column on Page 2 of ESPN. Simmons seems about my age and has a good mix of sports and pop culture. It's an everyday read for me.
